I took fri-sun off last week for travelling/adjusting, but I've settled in and should be back on track from here on out. Wednesday night I found what seems to be the only outdoor track in Amman - it's 1/5mi per lap and torn to shit in lanes 1-2 on the first turn. This guy was running repeat 800s on it with his coach yelling splits and I asked who he was - turns out the coach was the head of the olympic running program for the whole country and the guy running was the first Jordanian to win a marathon - (His name is Methkal Abu Drais Stockhom Results ) and he won the Stockholm marathon on June 2nd. Seems like Jordan doesn't focus too many resources on their running program either.

And the beard grows on, da-da-dum da-da da-da-da-dum.
